Outrage over the Killing of Atty. Ersin Arslan

Seyit Halil Yüzgeç, one of the Kayseri Bar Association lawyers, condemned the killing of Ersin Arslan by the person to whose house he went to perform the enforcement order in the distric Gebze of Kocaeli.

Having highlighted that attorneyship was a sacred profession, Atty. Yüzgeç said: "The profession of attorneyship is one of the trivets of the judiciary mechanism. Defense is a sine qua non in the judiciary mechanism. Attorneys assuming this duty must be protected and favored just as judges and prosecutors. Everyone may need a lawyer some day."

Atty. Yüzgeç said an attack at colleagues meant an attack at the law community and offered his condolences to those who love him and the law community.
